Call to Wisdom

Evan Conley

Proverbs 1:2-7

  • To know wisdom and instruction; To discern the words of understanding; To receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness and justice and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion: That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels: To understand a proverb, and a figure, the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; [But] the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

Why Should You Embrace Wisdom?

Wisdom is not just a collection of knowledge; it is a way of life. Embracing wisdom allows you to navigate life's challenges with grace and clarity. It empowers you to make sound choices, cultivate meaningful relationships, and live a purpose-driven life.

How Can You Cultivate Wisdom in Your Life?

Seeking wisdom is a lifelong pursuit, a journey of self-discovery and growth. To cultivate wisdom in your life, immerse yourself in literature, engage in meaningful conversations, and reflect on your experiences. Embrace humility, practice discernment, and always strive to learn and grow.

In a world that celebrates self-made success and quick answers, scripture calls us to pause and listen. True wisdom grows when we are willing to be taught. Even the wise are encouraged to keep learning, because wisdom is not a destination - it's a daily pursuit.

Die daily.
